Morning Itinerary
The tour begins in San Luca Square, just behind St. Mark’s. After a pleasant walk, during which your guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of Venice, you’ll reach the world-famous St. Mark’s Square, celebrated for its stunning beauty and remarkable architecture.
Here, you’ll admire the Basilica of St. Mark and its Campanile (entrance to the Basilica is included, except on Sundays or when tourist visits are suspended — visitors are kindly asked to dress appropriately for a place of worship) as well as the magnificent Doge’s Palace (entrance not included).
The morning itinerary concludes at the Correr Museum.
Afternoon Itinerary
Starting again from San Luca Square, the tour begins with a view of the iconic Rialto Bridge, one of Venice’s most photographed landmarks. Your guide will then lead you to the Scala Contarini del Bovolo, a hidden Gothic-Renaissance gem tucked away in a quiet courtyard, far from the typical tourist routes.
From there, continue your walk through the charming area between Campo Sant’Angelo and the La Fenice Theatre, discovering the elegant and authentic side of Venice.
Please note: this itinerary does not include entry to monuments.
